Sheila Vaughn was born in Lansing, MI. To her loving parents Louis and Priscilla Stokes. She
attended Oakland University were she obtained her Bachelor’s of Science degree. She then moved
to Rochester, NY to begin her career at the Eastman Kodak Company, as a Systems Analyst. Her
career took a God ordained turn in 1991 when she married her best friend, Michael Vaughn. As a
result of their union they are the parents of five (5) purpose filled children, Caleb, Shekinah, Zoe,
Zachary and Samuel. In 1994 Sheila left Eastman Kodak Company and moved into a more
challenging profession as a full time “House Queen”.
Sheila and her husband first started New Wineskin Ministries with the popular, “Time to Grow”
radio broadcast. On April 23, 2000, they opened New Wineskin Church where she faithfully
serves beside her husband in pastoral ministry.
With a love and desire to know the word of God at a higher level, Pastor Sheila received a certificate
from the Elim Bible Institute. Pastor Sheila also has a dance ministry that has blessed the lives of
many. She uses this gift of dance to minister unto the Lord, and to teach others to express
themselves in the interpretive dance of the Lord. Along with her gift of dance she is also a
professional seamstress, sewing praise garments as well as praise instruments to be used to make
Gods’ praise glorious!
Pastor Sheila is a fully committed maidservant and friend of the Lord Jesus, with a passion to see
others grow spiritually and fulfill their purpose in the earth!
